Cat Cafe In Japan

This is my first post where I’m trying to analyze these numbers in real time. My normal process is that I either already know what the numbers are trying to tell me based on a bunch of other data points I’ve collected and analyzed…or I save these things (e.g. photos, videos, articles, etc.) on my computer until I collect enough to see a pattern emerge and then I can say pretty confidently what the simulation is training me on. But the cat cafe has given me pause.

166 has consistently shown me things related to animals, so this video is in alignment with that theme. And when the subject is animals, 166 is usually questioning how humans define love in relationship to animals.

I had never heard of the concept, so I was actually excited about the idea of a cat cafe when the video first started. I thought it was a cafe where cats could socialize with other cats. I don’t condone owning pets, because the thought of indoor cats trapped indoors at homes or apartments across the world and having nobody to socialize or play with and not being able to connect with nature, while their human is at work or with friends, makes me sad. So providing a place where cats can socialize during the day, seemed like the second best thing for those that do own cats, besides you know…not owning them.

But then I realized, this cafe is basically like a spacious, posh zoo and people can come to watch, feed the cats, and be entertained by the cats. The owner of the cafe “loves” the cats in the sense that the cats are fed, played with, given shots, etc. But the cats are not free to leave, they are confined/locked into their space, but the cats are not free to leave and they are not given any real means/tools to communicate with their owner, and they essentially “work” (if you could ever put the words “work” and “cat” in the same sentence!) by entertaining customers to earn their food and lodging. Other than food and lodging, the cats are not compensated by the cafe owner who profits off of them every day and would not have such a successful business model without their presence. At its core the relationship between the cats and its human owner in this example, is one of slavery, even though the cats are not being physically harmed.

Other Observations:

  • The video on YouTube shows 1:66 on YouTube (see screenshot below) but 1:67 as an embedded on my website, possibly indicating this issue is significant in understanding how to fully unblock the bladder meridian.

  • I also noticed that both cat treats in the video included the number 74. The videographer seemed to think it was super cute to make two hungry cats lick a lollipop cat treat to get food/nourishment, but I thought it was kind of cruel and it made me sad to watch it.
